Johnny dropped out of High School at the hopes of being in a Rock band, Johnny's parents split up when Johnny was in High School, he was in a rock band called The Flame playing The Guitar. Unfortunately Johnny's band split up, but it all turned out good for Johnny as he turned his career towards acting as he visited Los Angeles, California with his wife Lori Anne Allison-( Now Divorced) who introduced him to Nicolas Cage. He made his film debut in the film Nightmare on elm street-(1984). Off Screen Johnny has dated many celebrity actresses and has been engaged to many of them such as sherilyn Fenn, Jennifer Grey, Winona Ryder and Kate Moss. He was married to Lori Anne Allison in 1983 but they divorced in 1985. Johnny is living with French singer-actress Vanessa Paradis. Johnny is scared of clowns, he is a big fan of Doctor Who, he turned down the role of Bruce Banner in the Hulk-(2003), Nicolas Cage got him his first acting job. Has a nightclub named after him in Tartu, Estonia. Good friend of Serbian film director Emir Kusturica, Close friend of Abigail Breslin. Made a voice message for 17-year-old British girl who has been in a coma for five months. Parents of the girl asked him to tape a voice message because he's the favorite actor of their daughter and they will play that message to her everyday hoping she'll wake up.
